Everything below is in the app now — not in a beta branch, not behind a waitlist tier.
- Hot cue questionnaires that write themselvesThe timeline decides which formalities need a song; the couple answers in the order the day runs, and answers land on the cue they belong to.
- A client portal in your brandYour logo and color on the sign-in door and every planning screen — set once for the company, per template, or per event, without touching past events.
- Section covers, video embeds, and action buttonsHeadline photos on portal sections, Loom / Vimeo / YouTube walkthroughs that play where they're placed, and buttons that link out to payments, reviews, or scheduling.
- Quotes clients can build onSend a quote through the portal with optional add-ons; the couple ticks what they want and accepts, and you're notified the moment they do.
- Music search and playlist importSearch Apple Music and Spotify from the sheet, or paste a Spotify playlist link and pull the whole thing in.
- Exports your DJ software can readThe run of show as an M3U8 or a rekordbox XML, in show order, with do-not-plays left out.
- Guest request linksA public link for the couple to share; guests request songs, duplicates become votes, and you approve what makes the list.
- Reminders on both sides of the eventCustom messages to clients or staff, scheduled relative to the event or the planning lock — a week before, or three days after for the review ask.
- Song mining from email and notesSongs and do-not-plays mentioned in client emails, consult transcripts, or pasted notes are staged as suggestions — a person approves before anything touches the sheet.
- Agent Cue screenshot intakeDrop in screenshots of an inquiry — a text thread, a planner's PDF, a form — and it drafts the event, client, and songs for your review.
- The night, offlineSave the sheet before you leave; tick cues, take notes, and reorder with no signal. It syncs when you're back.
- Your data, exportableOne click in Settings downloads everything your company has put in. No lock-in is a feature, not a promise.
- A public inquiry form on your doorA couple fills in the basics once and lands in your pipeline's New column, client attached — you never transcribe an inquiry again.
- The Monday review inboxEvery suggestion from calls, emails, notes, and Agent Cue in one list on the dashboard — ten minutes with coffee files the weekend.
- A weekly owner briefingYour week in one email: events coming, unsigned contracts, stalled questionnaires, what's waiting for review.
- The crew pack, automaticallyA staff reminder now carries the night: arrival time, venue and address, who's working it, and the live run sheet link.
- Contracts, signed in the portalDraft from your template with the event filled in, send it, and the client signs with a typed name — which mints and sends the deposit invoice on the spot.
NOWIn progress
On the bench right now Building
Being built and tested. “In progress” here means code is being written, not that a ticket exists.
- Production hardeningThe unglamorous work: deploy checks, status reporting, and making every integration fail loudly instead of quietly.
- This page's changelogDated entries for each release, so “what changed” has an answer that isn't a commit log.
NEXTPlanned
Decided, not yet started Planned
In roughly the order we expect to take them on. Order changes when working DJs tell us it should.
- Import from other planning toolsBring events across from the tool you're leaving — spreadsheet/CSV first, then the planners DJs actually migrate from.
- Payment buttons in the portalPayPal and Zelle links alongside the card and Venmo / Cash App options that exist today.
- Serato crate exportM3U8 and rekordbox shipped first; Serato's format is next.
- Template sharing between companiesA way for a company to publish a timeline template another company can start from.
NONot planned
Things we've decided not to build Not planned
A roadmap that only says yes isn't one. These are considered no's, with the reasoning attached.
- BPM and key analysisYour DJ software already does this better than we ever would. We export to it instead of imitating it.
- A general-purpose CRMHot Cues is the run of show and everything that feeds it. The moment it tries to be your email marketing tool too, it stops being good at the sheet.
- Streaming or playing audioWe hold references to songs — what to play and when — not the audio. Licensing music playback is a different business, run by people with more lawyers.
